- I work with mixed media with a focus on mosaics. My art reflects my life long interest in primitive/tribal arts around the world as well as the beauty of the natural world. I grew up in Gloucester, Massachusetts, and many of my family members were involved in the fishing industry so the sea is a common theme in my artwork. I am particularly focused in surface design, color and pushing the boundaries of sculpture with unconventional and repurposed materials.
