Fortunate are we who build here........I am a residential architect and artist who has been part of the Outdoor Sculpture at Maudslay show since 2002. Known to experiment with translucent corrugated plastic and zip ties, I primarily work with painted pine and plywood to create large abstract objects inspired by the geometry of nature and machines. Benefiting from the magnificent light and landscape of Maudslay my sculpture attempts to provide contrast through color, form and finish. While actively engaged in its role as performer and appreciative that it will remain a mapping device for those who walk the park for years to come.......I believe my work is ultimately in denial of itself as a temporary construct.
