The theme for the 2023 show will be ... FRACTURE

After a spirited debate, with possibly the most candidate ideas ever, we have chosen the theme FRACTURE for the Outdoor Sculpture at Maudslay show. 

To paraphrase some of the discussion, it's strengths are that it can mean a variety of things, that it's a verb and a noun, that it can lead to work addressing the state of the world, or more purely physical work. 

We'll share more information on the application process shortly. 

And 2023 show dates are: 

May 22: Applications due

June 17, 4 pm & June 19, 7 pm: Walkthroughs to confirm sites (choose one)

Sept 9: Artists install sculptures

Sept 10: Show opens

Sept 16, 2- 5 pm: Opening reception and tour (we hope!)

Oct 1, 12 pm: Show closes
